Two Terrorists Killed in Security Operation in Pakistan's Balochistan

Pakistani security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Kolpur area of Kachhi district, Balochistan, resulting in the killing of two militants, according to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military’s media wing.

The operation targeted terrorists affiliated with a group designated by the Pakistani government as “Fitna al Hindustan,” which it describes as an Indian-sponsored proxy organization. During the operation, security forces engaged the militants in an intense exchange of fire, leading to their elimination. Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the site.

The ISPR statement said the slain militants were “actively involved in numerous terrorist activities” in the region. It added that sanitization operations are ongoing to remove any remaining threats in the area.

This incident follows a series of recent counter-terrorism operations in Balochistan and other provinces, where Pakistani forces have intensified efforts against militant groups accused of cross-border links. The military reaffirmed its commitment to combating terrorism and maintaining security in the region.

The Pakistani government has repeatedly accused India of supporting militant groups operating in Balochistan, allegations that India denies, instead accusing Pakistan of sponsoring terrorism in Indian-administered Kashmir.

Balochistan, Pakistan’s largest and most resource-rich province, has faced a persistent insurgency involving separatist militants and extremist groups, resulting in frequent clashes with security forces and attacks on civilians.

The security situation in the province remains volatile, with ongoing military operations aimed at restoring stability and curbing violence.
